Currently, most applications (APPs) in domestic Smart Machine Box (SMB) platforms operate independently and can only be used individually through manual operations. They do not easily exchange data with each other and cannot collaborate to solve industry problems. Data and execution results generated by different APPs usually remain in their own files or databases, lacking a unified information aggregation mechanism and management interface. This prevents integration into the operational information needed by enterprises.

This article proposes a modular smart manufacturing service platform that combines past experience in assisting manufacturers with transformation. It organizes production requirements at different stages into various solutions based on different scenarios and target problems. The platform can assign tasks, track statuses, and control processes for APPs within a solution, while defining standardized and flexible data exchange interfaces to enable collaborative operation. This helps businesses establish digital and intelligent operational models.
