The Taiwan Digital Enterprise Alliance (TDEA) held its general assembly on July 18, followed by a board meeting where the current chairperson, Huang Yi-Ying, was re-elected for a third term. The new board consists of 75% second-generation entrepreneurs from various industries across Taiwan, ensuring diverse voices and needs are represented. Huang expressed gratitude for the members’ support and stated that she will continue to promote “dual-axis transformation” to help member companies reach new operational heights.

Establishing Diverse Communication Channels to Convey the Voices of Second-Generation Entrepreneurs
Traditionally, industry associations have served as the communication bridge with government agencies. However, as generational succession progresses, second-generation entrepreneurs are playing increasingly important roles, particularly focusing on dual-axis transformation and international expansion. Yet, their voices have not been effectively heard within these associations. Going forward, TDEA will regularly invite members and second-generation community leaders to engage in ongoing dialogue with administrative and legislative bodies, ensuring that businesses of different industries, sizes, and models are listened to and supported.

Accelerating Integration of Second-Generation Communities to Create a Collaborative Ecosystem
In recent years, TDEA has been deeply cultivating second-generation communities across Taiwan. Beyond supporting the growth of individual communities, it actively promotes exchanges between regional and cross-industry groups. In the future, TDEA will assist resource-limited counties such as Miaoli, Pingtung, and Yilan in establishing second-generation communities, expanding collaboration, and sharing resources and experiences. Through the power of the new generation, this initiative aims to accelerate business and industry development.

Connecting Resources, Opportunities, and Networks to Build an Innovation Engine for Future Industries
Industries are expected to be profoundly influenced by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, as well as by variables stemming from cross-border, cross-industry, and cross-generational dynamics. TDEA will continue to leverage its platform to amplify the strengths of second-generation entrepreneurs, top-tier mentors, and professional consultants, while actively promoting collaborations across regions, industries, and even with startups to foster new business models.

In line with this vision, TDEA’s CEO, Bella Wang , announced that under Chairperson Huang’s leadership and members’ strong expectations, TDEA has established an “Industry Advisory Committee.” This committee invites prominent figures from various sectors to provide insights on the development of second-generation entrepreneurs and to help create a collaborative ecosystem that embodies mutual prosperity.

Catherine’s future priorities as chairperson include strengthening TDEA’s role as a communication bridge between member companies and government agencies.
