A New Engine for Smart Manufacturing: An Integrated Base for R&D, Production, and Intelligent Management
Walrus Pump operates two major production bases in Taiwan: the Sanzhi Plant in New Taipei City and the Zhengyi Plant in Luzhu, Kaohsiung. The newly completed Global Plant introduces smart manufacturing processes, including all-electric injection molding equipment, automated packaging and palletizing, and a traceable digital production management platform. By combining process monitoring with cloud-based management technologies, the facility serves as a high-efficiency smart factory integrating R&D, manufacturing, testing, and intelligent management.
By integrating production line data through Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology and implementing automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), the company expects to boost production capacity for domestic residential pumps. The commencement of operations at the Kaohsiung Global Plant is expected to significantly enhance the company’s competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, providing customers with more efficient and innovative product solutions. Driven by smart processes and high-efficiency capacity, the company is optimistic about expanding its market share in the coming years. Furthermore, the group continues to serve Mainland China and expand into the ASEAN market through its subsidiary, SUZHOU WALRUS PUMP CO., LTD. meeting global demand under the WALRUS brand.
