Eric Loves Reading – Become the Person You Truly Want to Be
Eric, co-founder of NTU TMBA, corporate reading ambassador, popular lecturer, and bestselling author of Inner Fulfillment, The Force Effect, and Inner Force, visited Elimi to share insights on achieving “inner fulfillment.” He recounted his personal experience of hitting rock bottom in 1997 and being deeply inspired by a speech from President Yan Chang-Shou. That moment planted a seed in his heart—a vow to become someone like President Yan. Twenty-seven years later, Eric has delivered over 500 speeches, helped countless people, and exerted positive influence. He finally presented his book Inner Fulfillment to President Yan as a gesture of gratitude for that inspiration.

Start with the end in mind: if you want to meet certain kinds of people, first become that kind of person yourself. Life influences life. “You can’t take anything with you except your deeds.” Every effort eventually flows back to you. Eric’s 27 years of dedication toward realizing his dreams, vision, and mission—and mentioning President Yan in every speech—became the most priceless reward. In closing, he encouraged everyone present to strive to become an angel in someone else’s heart.

Net-Zero Trend – Women CEO Lecture by Project Manager Chen Yu-Ting
In response to international net-zero trends, supply chain requirements, and pressures from carbon border adjustment mechanisms, Elimi’s female managers regard environmental sustainability, corporate transformation, and maintaining competitiveness as key issues. Through a guidance program by the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Industrial Development Bureau, they invited Gaoqi Energy’s Project Manager Chen Yu-Ting to deliver an insightful lecture. Chen explained what carbon footprint is, how to calculate it, and global carbon-related trends. She then elaborated on domestic and international regulations and supply chain requirements, followed by solutions and recommendations on conducting audits and reducing emissions, while reassuring that there’s no need for excessive anxiety.

The government spares no effort in assisting businesses. The Industrial Association has established the Industrial Carbon Neutral Alliance—bringing together over 50 industry associations in steel, petrochemicals, cement, textiles, and paper—to promote carbon reduction through a “big leads small” approach. They also provide online carbon tools such as the “Carbon Inventory Calculator” to help companies conduct self-assessments. Additionally, CEO classes, workshops, seed programs, and carbon footprint courses offer intensive training. Carbon inventory, carbon footprint demonstration, and energy management advisory teams have been organized to lead businesses onto the net-zero carbon track!
