The 10th Vietnam Hanoi International Machine Tool and Metalworking Equipment Exhibition opened grandly on October 2 at the ICE International Exhibition Center, running for three days. This exhibition is the leading event for precision machinery and manufacturing in northern Vietnam. Despite a slight reduction in scale due to a typhoon the previous month, the event still gathered 94 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, including global industry leaders such as Japan’s THK, Germany’s BLUM-NOVOTEST, China General Technology, and Switzerland’s UNITED GRINDING Group.

Overseas exhibitors accounted for 66%, representing Taiwan, the United States, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Israel, Hong Kong, and other Vietnamese participants. The exhibition covered an area of 4,000 square meters and attracted 5,410 professional visitors, most of whom were decision-makers or senior buyers with purchasing authority—highlighting the strong demand for high-quality machine tools in the Vietnamese market.

TMBA’s Taiwan Pavilion stood out with a strong lineup of 16 companies across 22 booths, occupying nearly 200 square meters. It successfully drew the attention of numerous Vietnamese professional buyers and became a focal point of the exhibition. Leading companies such as Desse Precision and Hiwin Technologies showcased Taiwan’s advanced precision machinery technologies to the Vietnam Automation Association (VAA) and the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI).

This exhibition demonstrated the competitiveness of Taiwan’s machine tool industry in the Vietnamese market and laid a solid foundation for future development. Exhibitors expressed optimism about Vietnam’s market potential and hoped the government would provide more policy support to help Taiwanese companies seize market opportunities.
