As the world's 15th largest machine tool market, Vietnam’s demand is fueled by five major sectors, including automotive and electronics. The event highlighted smart manufacturing, automation, and AI trends. The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) led 11 premium manufacturers, utilizing a pavilion design inspired by Taipei 101 and Jade Mountain to bolster the "MIT" brand. Exhibitors expressed strong optimism regarding Vietnam's potential as a rising manufacturing hub.
The 10th Vietnam Hanoi International Machine Tool and Metalworking Equipment Exhibition opened on October 2, 2024, featuring 94 exhibitors from 14 countries, with overseas participants making up 66%. The event attracted 5,410 professional buyers. TMBA’s Taiwan Pavilion showcased 16 companies across 22 booths, presenting advanced precision machinery technologies and engaging with local associations. The pavilion drew significant attention from Vietnamese buyers, highlighting Taiwan’s competitiveness in the machine tool industry. Exhibitors expressed optimism about Vietnam’s market potential and called for government policy support to help Taiwanese firms seize emerging opportunities.
