As the global machine tool industry moves toward digitalization, smart manufacturing, and higher safety standards, functional safety and EMC compliance are becoming key requirements for international market access. TMBA, together with OSHA, MIRDC, PMC, and ETC, organized an information session to help manufacturers understand the documentation, test reports, and application procedures required under the new certification framework expected in 2027. By preparing early, companies can strengthen compliance capabilities, reduce market access risks, and enhance the credibility and competitiveness of Taiwan’s machine tool industry in global supply chains.

With new workplace bullying prevention provisions under Taiwan’s Occupational Safety and Health Act set to take effect on July 1, 2026, companies are required to establish mechanisms for prevention, complaint handling, investigation, and follow-up measures. In response, TMBA held a seminar on workplace bullying prevention and the boundary between reasonable management and inappropriate conduct, featuring attorney Pu Ruo-chi from Ye Xin Law Firm. The session covered regulatory updates, employer responsibilities, complaint and investigation procedures, and practical case studies. Strong participation from managers, HR, and occupational safety personnel reflected growing industry attention to workplace governance, legal compliance, and the development of healthier workplace systems.
