Smart, Low-Carbon Manufacturing Takes Center Stage as AMB 2026 Draws 1,195 Exhibitors

As global manufacturing accelerates its transition toward smart and low-carbon production, European demand for high-precision, automated, and low-carbon equipment continues to rise. AMB 2026, the International Exhibition for Metalworking, was held at Messe Stuttgart from September 15 to 19, 2026. Under the theme “Where metal comes alive,” the exhibition occupied 10 halls and 120,000 square meters of floor space, bringing together 1,195 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions. Leading German manufacturers, including INDEX Group and DMG MORI, joined precision machine tool brands from Switzerland and Austria as well as major Japanese automation companies in presenting their latest technologies.

TMBA Leads 18 Taiwanese Companies into Europe, Showcasing Taiwan’s Comprehensive Manufacturing Capabilities

To help Taiwanese companies connect with the European market, the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) organized a delegation of 18 domestic manufacturers, with a combined exhibition area of 722 square meters. Exhibitors were grouped by product category across the themed halls and included KEN ICHI MACHINE CO., LTD.; SHIN-YAIN INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.; EXACT MACHINERY CO., LTD.; SHE HONG INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.; LI-CHOU MACHINERY INDUSTRY CO., LTD.; HOSEA PRECISION CO., LTD.; MINCHUEN ELECTRICAL MACHINERY CO., LTD.; YA WEI MACHINE TOOL MANUFACTURING INC. (RayMack); CTF International Co., Ltd.; COSEN MECHATRONICS CO., LTD.; ECHAINTOOL PRECISION CO., LTD.; PARFAITE TOOL CO., LTD.; WINSTAR CUTTING TECHNOLOGIES CORP.; EVERMORE MACHINE CO., LTD.; CHING HUNG MACHINERY & ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.; GPM CO., LTD.; TE-SHIN Precision Technology CO., LTD.; and BAO JE INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. The delegation presented complete machines, precision cutting tools, key modules, and smart automation solutions. During the exhibition, Yi-Chin Chou, Director of the Economic Division at the Taipei Representative Office in the Federal Republic of Germany, Frankfurt Office, also visited the pavilion to learn about the exhibitors’ activities.

Connecting with Senior Decision-Makers and Digital Marketing Generates 159,000 International Impressions

AMB 2026 attracted approximately 65,000 trade visitors from around the world, with international buyers accounting for 22%. According to exhibition statistics, 68% of visitors had decision-making authority in the manufacturing sector, highlighting the event’s strong potential for highly targeted business matchmaking. Throughout the exhibition, Taiwanese exhibitors engaged in in-depth discussions with European buyers and multinational supply-chain partners to better understand European demand for high-performance and smart machining equipment.

In addition to face-to-face engagement at the exhibition, TMBA implemented a strategy integrating the physical showcase with digital promotion. During the event, targeted multinational campaigns were run through Google Ads and Facebook to promote participating companies online, generating more than 159,000 impressions. The initiative not only expanded the visibility of the physical exhibition but also enabled overseas companies unable to attend in person to discover Taiwan-made products, strengthening the participating companies’ combined brand exposure in international markets.
