The 2026 Greater Taichung Corporate Volunteer Day was held on August 22, with the TMBA Corporate Volunteer Alliance participating as an event partner in the Mountain Cleanup Initiative organized by the Topkey Education Foundation. Corporate volunteers from the machine tool and accessory industry joined the effort in Taiping District, Taichung, clearing fallen leaves, moss, and weeds along mountain trails despite rainy weather. The activity demonstrated the industry’s commitment to ESG, environmental protection, and social engagement, turning sustainability from a corporate goal into concrete community action.
In the landscape of Taiwan’s machine tool industry, "precision" is our foundation and "efficiency" is our pursuit. However, 2025 marked a milestone for the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) in demonstrating its "soft power." Through the "TMBA Corporate Volunteer Alliance," initiated by the Social Responsibility (S) Committee, we wrote countless moving chapters in the second half of the year. From accompanying seniors in the height of summer to mountain cleaning in autumn, and mobilizing support for the underprivileged at year-end—every drop of sweat and every donation converged into the most powerful warm current for industrial transformation.
