The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders' Association (TMBA) held the Machine Tool "Energy Label Award Ceremony and Cross-Industry Application Process Requirements Exchange Forum" on January 10th. The event honored the recipients of the 1st and 2nd Green Energy Labels for machine tools and component products.
The 33rd Taiwan Excellence Awards were held on November 27 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, honoring companies for outstanding achievements in AI technology, sustainability, and cross-disciplinary innovation. This year, 155 companies submitted 286 products, with 30 winning Gold and Silver Awards. TMBA member companies stood out, as Chevalier Machinery earned the Gold Award for its “UA432L Green Energy Three-in-One Linear Motor Wire-Cut EDM,” while HIWIN Technologies received the Silver Award for its “High-Speed EDM Milling Head RCH-100E.”
The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) received the Ministry of the Interior’s 2024 National Outstanding Professional Association Award, represented by Vice Chairman Chen Cheng. In recent years, TMBA has promoted smart machinery overseas marketing, supported green transformation, and organized carbon footprint courses to enhance industry competitiveness. Additionally, Supervisory Committee Convener Hu Wei-Hua was honored as an Outstanding Director/Supervisor in the industrial and mining sector, recognizing his long-term dedication to association affairs and strengthening member cohesion.
L&L Machinery adheres to the principles of “Technology, Quality, Efficiency, Sustainability, and Heritage,” focusing on independent R&D to build a complete product line while advancing smart manufacturing and system integration. This year, the company won the 31st SME Innovation Research Award with its “LLS Heavy-Duty Multi-Axis Compound Machining Center,” which features multiple innovations, including completing turning, milling, grinding, and polishing in a single setup. The machine’s load capacity has been increased to 25 tons, its length extended to 13 meters, and it integrates intelligent control systems with user-friendly interfaces to enhance efficiency and safety.
