As borders reopened in late 2022, the 31st Taiwan Excellence Awards highlighted the resurgence of international trade. Taiwan's machine tool industry shone with nearly 30 TMBA members winning awards. Honor Seiki and Hiwin Mikrosystem secured Gold Awards, while HIWIN, CHMER, Gifu, and Camtic earned Silver Awards. The winning products focus on Digital Transformation and Sustainability, integrating AI and green technologies to address precision challenges in the aerospace and semiconductor sectors. Supported by TAITRA’s global marketing, this "M.I.T. National Team" is poised to lead the post-pandemic market.

In late 2022, the elimi Women Managers’ Association visited Chenbro’s sustainable Chiayi plant and appointed Lulu Yen (VP of Tongtai) as its 6th President. Under the theme "Empowering Beauty, Diverse Value Creation," Yen established specialized committees to promote the core values of warmth, innovation, and excellence. Marking its 10th anniversary, elimi continues to empower female leaders in the traditionally male-dominated machinery industry. Beyond site visits and professional growth, the association remains committed to social responsibility, donating to the Happy Learning Association to support underprivileged children and driving a culture of mutual prosperity.

The TMBA hosted its 2023 Outlook Press Conference, led by Chairman Patrick Chen under the theme "Passing the Torch." Facing headwinds from inflation, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the energy crisis, global demand slowed in late 2022. However, TMBA expects the market to bottom out in Q2 2023, with growth opportunities in Southeast Asia and the U.S. infrastructure sector. To ensure long-term competitiveness, TMBA has established three ESG committees to assist members in integrating digital transformation and green energy, aiming for the 2050 Net-Zero goal through sustainable smart manufacturing.
