In late 2022, the elimi Women Managers’ Association visited Chenbro’s sustainable Chiayi plant and appointed Lulu Yen (VP of Tongtai) as its 6th President. As borders reopened in late 2022, the 31st Taiwan Excellence Awards highlighted the resurgence of international trade. Taiwan's machine tool industry shone with nearly 30 TMBA members winning awards. Honor Seiki and Hiwin Mikrosystem secured Gold Awards, while HIWIN, CHMER, Gifu, and Camtic earned Silver Awards. The winning products focus on Digital Transformation and Sustainability, integrating AI and green technologies to address precision challenges in the aerospace and semiconductor sectors. Supported by TAITRA’s global marketing, this "M.I.T. National Team" is poised to lead the post-pandemic market.

JIMTOF 2022 returned to Tokyo as a physical event, marking its largest scale in history with over 110,000 visitors. Under the theme "Open the Door to the Future," the fair highlighted three key trends: the debut of the AM (Additive Manufacturing) Area, Digital Transformation (DX) for smart automation, and Green Transformation (GX) for sustainability. Major exhibitors like OKUMA, FANUC, and DMG MORI showcased carbon-neutral solutions and digital twin technologies. While Japanese machine tool orders remain strong due to EV and semiconductor demand, the industry faces global risks, including inflation, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain disruptions.
