Embodying the "TEAM TAIWAN" spirit, the alliance leverages Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductor manufacturing and AI algorithms to execute a strategy of "Local Innovation, Global Export," building a comprehensive AI robotics ecosystem to secure a leading position in the next industrial revolution.

To help Taiwan’s machine tool industry navigate global regulations and "non-tariff barriers," the BSMI and PMC have launched the "Machine Tool Local Testing, Verification, and Calibration Service Platform." This portal integrates domestic TAF and ISO-accredited resources to provide one-stop consulting and technical support for key markets like the US, EU, and India. It covers essential certifications, including CE marking and North American electrical safety. By offering regulatory analysis, technical documentation guidance, and international collaboration channels, the platform reduces R&D risks and certification costs. Ultimately, it accelerates the export process and strengthens the global compliance and competitiveness of Taiwan’s precision machinery.

To bridge the rural-urban educational gap, TMBA hosted the "Smart Machinery Practical Workshop" in the Hualien-Taitung region, attracting over 40 vocational students. Supported by industry leaders like YCM, Victor Taichung, and FANUC Taiwan, the curriculum integrated traditional CNC machining with cutting-edge collaborative robot simulations, emphasizing a "Theory × Practice" approach. MTA Vietnam 2025 recently concluded in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring nearly 450 exhibitors from 21 countries. As the world's 15th largest machine tool market, Vietnam’s demand is fueled by five major sectors, including automotive and electronics. The event highlighted smart manufacturing, automation, and AI trends. The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) led 11 premium manufacturers, utilizing a pavilion design inspired by Taipei 101 and Jade Mountain to bolster the "MIT" brand. Exhibitors expressed strong optimism regarding Vietnam's potential as a rising manufacturing hub.

In the first half of 2025, the TMBA Corporate Volunteer Alliance actively fulfilled its CSR commitments through diverse social initiatives. Key achievements include providing 210 New Year meal kits for vulnerable families in Hualien (Q1) and supporting the Garden of Hope Foundation’s empowerment programs for women and children (Q2). Additionally, the Alliance organized an 800kg beach cleanup and supported Huashan Foundation’s elderly sports meet. The Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders' Association (TMBA) led a prominent delegation, showcasing Taiwan's industrial prowess through a national pavilion featuring key firms like Evermore and Ju Wei Technology. Official visits from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office further strengthened Taiwan-Malaysia industrial ties. With a 7.5% year-on-year growth in exports to Malaysia in early 2025, Taiwan remains a primary supplier of machine tools to the region. Driven by Malaysia's "Industry 4.0" policy, the rising demand for smart manufacturing equipment offers significant long-term growth potential for Taiwanese manufacturers.
